Muscle Release Technique / Repetitive Use Injury Therapy:
Derived from a technique developed in Europe, this is a very unique injury therapy that combines compression, extension, movement and breath to give the therapist a tool to provide, in many cases, relief from pain in one treatment. With the Muscle Release Technique, scar tissue is broken up, the muscle is lengthened, muscle memory is restored and relief from pain starts immediately. There has been profoundly successful results in utilizing this technique with chronic and acute soft tissue injuries, taking these chronic pain sufferers to a pain free condition in a short period of time. This technique can be used to treat people with Carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, sciatica syndrome, knee pain, plantar fasciitis, hammer toes and fibromyalgia - just to name a few.

Deep Tissue Massage:
This provides release of chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow firm strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas. This technique follows the grain or the cross grain of the muscle and is used on muscles, tendons, and fascia. This treatment enhances blood supply to the problem areas helping to diminish pain.

Thai Yoga Massage:
In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga Massage, the practitioner guides the client through a series of yoga postures and stretches, while palming and thumbing along the body’s energy (‘Sen’) lines and pressure points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.

Thai Yoga Massage is performed on a mat on the floor; both client and practitioner are dressed in comfortable clothing allowing ease of movement and flexibility.

Relaxation Massage:
Promotes general relaxation and improves circulation and joint mobility, as well as relieving muscle tension. Used primarily in a full-body session, it is a system of long strokes, kneading, and friction techniques on the superficial layers of muscles.

Energy Medicine:

The science and the art of optimizing your energies to help your body and mind function at their best. Controlling your chemistry by managing your energies is the fast track for helping your body evolve and adapt to the challenges of the 21's century. For more info on Energy Medicine.

A Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Kripalu Yoga:

Kripalu is a gentle hatha yoga practice with a compassionate approach

and emphasis on meditation, physical healing and spiritual transformation

that overflows from the yoga mat into daily life.

Over time, students are taught to observe their thoughts without judging

and to accept and love themselves as they are.

In a Kripalu class, each student learns to find their own level of safe and

comfortable practice on a given day by looking inward. The classes

usually begin with pranayama exercises and gentle stretches followed

by asana practice and ending with savasana, relaxation.

In classes for beginners, poses are held for a short time as students begin

to feel the effects of prana in the body. More advanced classes include

longer holding of postures and eventually, flow. At the conclusion of class,

Kripalu teachers say Jai Bhagwan instead of namaste. These terms essentially

have identical meanings, however one is in Hindi and the other in Sanskrit.

Because of Kripalu’s emphasis on adaptability and acceptance, this yoga is

welcoming to people who feel like they are outside the norm, people who

are looking for transformation during difficult times of life, and people who

have injuries or any physical limitations.
